They are not the heaviest material, but are heavy enough. I think they would be too hot if they were heavier. They do have pockets on each side - none in the back. The only thing I wish was that they had a zipper in the front, but you never find one on this style.

They are not real heavy in weight (more medium) and are plenty warm for Dad in the nursing home. They do have side pockets.

I would say fabric is medium weight: size 3XL in "heather" weighs 1 lb 3 ozs. There are 2 on-seam pockets: fairly shallow, only 6 inches deep.

I can't speak for the 4x but I will say I purchased the 2X (Dad's new size) and they run quite large. Theoretically they should have been exchanged for XL but Dad is fine with them, he sits in a wheel chair in the nursing home, and will fit if he gains more weight from the great food he gets there!

A lot. I am a 48 waist and got the 4x and they are too big. I have to tie them really tight to make them stay up. They are super stretchy.

I HAVE A 48" WASTE AND THE 2X RUN WAY BIG! THEY WILL STRETCH TO ALMOST 58 " WASTE. THE SEAT IS HALF THAT IN STRETCHING. THE INSEAM IS ABOUT 3" LONG, I WEAR A 31" AND THESE RUN ABOUT 35"

BUT THEY ARE LONG ENOUGH NOT TO PULL UP WHEN I SIT DOWN AND THAT'S GREAT FOR ME ANYWAY

I'm not sure. But at this price it would be worth it to find out. I am plus size female. 5' 5" at 250. Short and round, I like the fit. Besides elastic does become less tight after a few washes. Try typing in for a size chart. Good luck.

As received, about 34. I had mine seamed to about 31.

I am 6'4" and the leg blouses over the nifty elastic band at the ankle. I can bend way,way over without even the slightest hint of plumbers crack.

I have purchased these before for myself (yes I'm a woman, however I LOVE the pockets!) and I'll purchase these again. I've lost a lot of weight and as I creep down in size these have the draw string inside that allows me to adjust for my shrinking waistline. They also have deep pockets for my phone and keys and other things that I typically just throw into the bottom of my purse. The Pockets are so deep I even lost my phone in one for a bit! I had to have my husband call it to hear it ring! They are soft and comfortable to lounge in as well. I prefer wearing these to any other pants. And I wear them often!

Just absolutely LOVE these!

The only problem is the fleece portion sheds. Not clear in the discription of the product is that it has a draw string in the front. There is also a loose elastic around the ankle which i liked..

The shedding of the fleece appeared to stop by the 2nd or 3rd washing.

I did not like the draw string, but other than that I felt it was an excellent buy.

Excellent value for the price

If you're a Big Mn then and need sweat pants for the winter then these are the ones to buy. At the current price for two to a package you just can't beat the value. And, these are really good pants, nice and warm. Highly recommended! I will be buying more of for sure.
